Made, partnering with Australian Premium Foods has launched Australia’s favourite enhanced water, NutrientWater, into China.
With a population of 1.35bn, China is the world’s most populous country. It bears 144 people per km2 compared with only 3 in Australia (that’s right, 48 times denser living than Australia) and boasts an economic history stretching over thousands of years. And, in case you’ve been hiding under a rock, the dragon is awakening.
Premium Australia Foods is the lead participant of the Victorian Government’s Path Way to Asia project which involves assistance to Victorian based businesses to export their products in a collaborative eCommerce approach.
Chris Morley, Director Australian Premium Foods, says “eCommerce is the most efficient form of retail and by acting in a collaborative approach we open up the doors to the world’s largest consumer population with minimum risk, minimum resource drain and maximizing sales potential. eCommerce offers the chance to sell to all of China – a far better strategy long term than opening a single presence in store or risking your brand with an unknown distributor – we are excited to help grown Victorian exports to China and develop local Australian brands.”
This marks an exciting step in Victoria’s expansion into Asia and another exciting chapter in the ever evolving Made business.
Stay tuned for more details on its success.
